African Miners exists to make African gold accessible to serious international buyers without stripping value from the people who recover it. We buy from licensed small gold miners at an agreed, competitive discount, consolidate their production, and present it to the market in a form buyers can transact on with confidence.

What we are working towards

• A shorter chain. Fewer intermediaries between the mine and the buyer, so provenance stays clear and value stays in the region.
• Verifiable quality. Assay and weight confirmed before completion, with site visits welcome for buyers who want to see the operation for themselves.
• Documented trade. A traceability plan from procurement through storage, processing, packaging and shipping.
• Durable relationships. Repeat supply arrangements rather than one-off transactions, for both our miners and our buyers.
• Sustainable supply. Global small gold miner supply is significant and supports a revenue model that can be maintained over the long term.

How we measure ourselves

By whether a buyer comes back, and by whether the miners we source from continue to bring us their production. Both depend on the same thing: doing exactly what we said we would do, at the quality and on the timeline we agreed.
